This role at Enphase requires working onsite 3 days a week, with plans to transition back to a full 5 day in office schedule over time.

About the Role

Enphase Energy is looking for highly motivated new graduates to join our Product Security team. This is an excellent opportunity to apply embedded systems, C/C++ programming, security, and testing knowledge to real-world projects. You will be developing and testing secure embedded software for Enphase’s next-generation solar power and communication devices. You will work on software development, debugging, security assessments, and automated testing for embedded systems.

What you will be doing

  • Perform security testing of embedded firmware such as SAST, DAST etc.
  • Perform penetration testing and security assessments under guidance
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to test embedded hardware interactions
  • Write test scripts and develop automated testing frameworks for embedded software
  • Work with low-level protocols (UART, CAN, TCP/IP) for embedded security
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in embedded security software development, and testing

Who you are and what you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, testing, and product security
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems
  • Deep understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and Linux fundamentals
  • Extensive experience with microcontrollers, memory management, and peripheral interfaces
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in embedded security, cryptography concepts, and secure coding principles
  • Proficient in using debugging tools such as GDB, JTAG, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, etc.
  • Skilled in scripting languages like Python and Bash for development and test automation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, work collaboratively across functions, and adapt to evolving technical challenges
  • Solid foundation in testing methodologies including unit, integration, system, and regression testing
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and Python-based test tools
  • Passionate about embedded systems, security, software testing, and driving automation and quality improvements
